Dar Marhaba: a demo conversion website for a riad

Dar Marhaba is a three-room guesthouse in Derb Dabachi, in the Marrakech medina, built around an orange-tree patio, a rooftop terrace, and a home kitchen, two minutes from Jemaa el-Fna. I built this bilingual demo to show what a conversion website looks like for a small, three-room house like this one: a live example anyone can open, not a delivered client project. A visitor can see the patio and the rooms, then reach the house directly by phone or email.

    The demo

    Here it is. Try it.

The demo itself, running live below. Scroll it, open the menu, tap the buttons — it works exactly like a real visitor would find it.

    The build

    What's built into it.

    • A bilingual site, English and French, so a guest reads it in their own language.
    • Click-to-call built in for a direct booking inquiry.
    • Google Maps directions built in, for a house set in the Derb Dabachi alleys.
    • A full page structure: a house, not a hotel, the house itself, the three rooms, the home kitchen, coming to find the house, the view over the medina, and a contact and phone close for a house with only three rooms.
    • A clean, mobile-first build, made for how a traveler actually browses on a phone.
