Le Vrai Traditionnel: Tourism Conversion Website

A Tourism Conversion Website built for a traditional Marrakech restaurant: clear structure, four languages, and a site designed to help tourists understand the offer, trust the place, and take action. Every path leads somewhere deliberate: reserve a table, call, get directions, or read the menu. This is the foundation the Connected Tourism Growth System builds on.

    The challenge

    Where they were stuck.

    • No proper website, so a strong restaurant had a weak first impression online.
    • International guests arriving in several languages with nothing built for any of them.
    • No clear paths to act: reserving a table, calling, getting directions, or reading the menu was harder than it should be.
    • A site that wasn't structured for Google or for visibility in AI-powered search, so correct information wasn't easy to find or surface.

    The solution

    What I built for them.

    • A conversion-focused website built around the restaurant's real story, not a template.
    • Four languages (English, French, Spanish, and Italian) so each visitor reads the site in their own language.
    • Clear action paths placed where tourists look for them: reserve a table, click to call, get directions on Google Maps, and view the full menu.
    • Trust built into the page: real food photography, Google and Tripadvisor ratings, opening hours, and the exact location, the questions a tourist answers before deciding.
    • A clean, structured build so search engines and AI-powered search can read the brand correctly: a solid foundation for visibility and ads later.

Google Search local results: Le Vrai Traditionnel listed at the top of the 'Addresses' pack for a traditional-restaurant search.

    The process

    How I delivered it.

    1. 01

      Content & story

Mapped the menu, the story, and the details worth showing: what a tourist actually needs to decide to come in.

    2. 02

      Structure

Designed a clear four-language structure (EN, FR, ES, IT) so the offer reads the same way in every language.

    3. 03

      Design & build

Built a fast, mobile-first site with the action paths (reserve, call, directions, menu) placed where people look for them.

    4. 04

      Trust

Brought the proof onto the page: food photography, Google and Tripadvisor ratings, hours, and location, so a first-time visitor can trust the place in seconds.

    5. 05

      Search structure

Clean, structured markup so search engines and AI-powered search can read the restaurant's information correctly.

    6. 06

      Launch

Took the site live as the conversion foundation: the page every other channel can now point to.

    Documented along the way

Because the site was built clean and structured for both Google and visibility in AI-powered search, something I'd treated as a goal showed up in real life: guests arrived saying an AI assistant, ChatGPT, had pointed them to the restaurant. It's documented, confirmed by the owner, and shown here as evidence that a well-structured site can be read on these new surfaces. It is not a guarantee that any business will be recommended by an AI assistant.

Real Google Maps review by guest Sylvia Mottram, five stars: “Fantastic dinner here - my Chat GPT helped me find it - wanted something local to our Riad with good vege options. Great find - LOVED the Moroccan salads and vege tagine… The tagine was very tasty. Great service from our lovely waiter… Highly recommended.”
Real Google Maps review by guest Sylvia Mottram, five stars: “We wanted to find a rooftop restaurant, I used Chat GPT… He was so very attentive, in fact I think he may have been the best waiter we had the whole trip! I had the vege tagine and although it was excellent… This is a really great restaurant, I would eat here again should we come back to the city.”
